​Blue Sky Van Rides is a, privately owned, non-emergency transportation company located in Countryside, IL and was formally BlueSky Home Care & Transportation.

​We were established in 2011 and have been servicing seniors and people with disabilities in the community for over twelve years now. We pride ourselves on the positive differences we’ve made in our client’s lives and in the community in general. We look forward to continuing to make a positive difference by providing ambulatory and wheelchair accessible transportation. It is our goal to exceed customer expectation for quality of service by providing safe, reliable and, most importantly, on-time transportation to those in need.

Owner, Shannon Rapp, has resided in the area and been active in the community for 48 years. Before starting Blue Sky Van Rides, formally BlueSky Home Care and Transportation, she had a wonderful 38-year career in management with Dominick’s Finer Foods.

She is the former President of the Countryside Chamber of Commerce and is active in the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce. Shannon is active in several local senior organizations and is truly passionate about helping seniors, people with disabilities, and those in need. If she isn’t out championing seniors she is cheering on her beloved Chicago White Sox or volunteering with Honor Flight Chicago an organization she is also passionate about.
