How much advance notice do you need to schedule Transportation?
While we will always do our best to accommodate a last-minute request, it is best to contact us at least several days to a week before the transport date.
Can my caregiver or a family member ride with me?
Absolutely. We encourage but do not require our customers to travel with a caregiver or family member. We do not charge for additional passengers.
Will the driver take me inside or drop me off at the curb?
We don’t just pick you up and drop you off at the curb, we offer door-through-door service. Our drivers will safely assist you in and out your home as well as into your appointment on time. In addition, we can arrange for the driver to accompany you to your appointment.
How long will I have to wait for my driver to return after my appointment?
We use a Will Call return procedure to ensure a minimum wait time. Blue Sky will do everything we can to ensure you are picked up in a timely and safe manner.
What do you charge for transportation?
Every trip is different in point of origin, destination, and duration; please contact us with the details of your ride and we will be happy to quote you a price.
Can I use insurance to pay for this type of transportation?
We do not accept Medicare and Medicaid. Please check with your insurance to determine if they will reimburse your transportation expenses.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Major Credit Cards, and Personal Checks. Payment is due at the time of transport unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Can you transport powered chairs or scooters?
Yes, our vehicles can easily accommodate power chairs and scooters.
Do you offer transportation for stretchers?
We do not.
